Triple Technology Radar Ultrasound Infrared
USMI9601 sensor detects vehicles using a combination of microwave radar, ultrasound and infrared technologies.
The radar provides the system with the ability to accurately measure the length and speed of the vehicle using the “doppler” effect. Other functionalities, among which the counting of vehicles at low speed and the detection of vehicle height are entrusted to the ultrasonic and infrared sensors.
The set of data collected allows, by using appropriate algorithms, to obtain an accurate classification of vehicles.
